Generational Love for Mille Lacs for Over 100 Years
Barneveld’s Resort began as a family homestead in 1906. Over the years, the homestead grew into a working farm and eventually became a lakefront destination for fishermen drawn to the beauty and tranquility of Mille Lacs.
While the farm is no longer in operation, we’re proud to carry on the family legacy in a new way. Today, Barneveld’s Resort continues to offer a quiet, laid-back retreat for fishermen and families looking to enjoy the lake, relax, and experience the timeless charm of Mille Lacs.
Today, Barneveld’s Resort is proudly owned and operated by the fourth generation of the Barneveld family—Captain Will Barneveld, his wife Andrea, and their family. Together, they are dedicated to continuing the family tradition of warm hospitality and ensuring every guest feels welcome throughout their stay.
